STORY

House of NOX began with two brothers, Aavi and Aamar, who grew up in a home where creativity wasn’t taught, it was lived. Born in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District, surrounded by graffiti murals, street art, and a skyline that made them believe anything was possible.

Born to a mother who is a well known fashion designer and a father who was a music producer, their childhood unfolded in a whirlwind of sounds and sketches: professional music equipment humming in the background, pianos and drums scattered between rooms, fashion mood boards taped to walls, campaign shoots happening on random afternoons, and ideas always floating in the air. Creativity wasn’t something they visited, it was the world they lived in.

The spark for House of NOX started with Aamar. When he didn’t get into an entrepreneurship class at school, he decided to become an entrepreneur anyway. He pitched the idea of a “67” hoodie drop and brought in his older brother, Aavi - the natural designer - to create the graphics. What began as a small sibling project quickly transformed into a vision.

In homage to their father’s music label, P.Nox Production , the brothers named their brand House of NOX, honoring the creativity they were raised in while building something distinctly their own. Every piece is made-to-order, created with intention, resourcefulness, and the quiet confidence of two young creators creating something from scratch.

Even as they grow, the boys stay grounded. Through their family’s travels and the stories they’ve heard, they know how many children around the world grow up with limited resources or in war-affected regions. It’s why giving back, especially to classrooms and communities in need, is part of their mission from day one.

And their little brother, Aakai, remains the unofficial muse, referee, and spark behind the scenes, keeping things loud, funny, and always inspired.
